Ego - A serial killer

Self-respect and ego are two different things. Ego is the state of mind of giving self -preference and thinking that we are the right persons to do anything in the right manner than anybody else. Most of the people get success in their lives, by getting fame and money but they could not maintain relations with others, due to their ego. Ego, just like many evils, has many consequences and here we will know how ego destroys relationships. Many people want that they should be praised by all, whether it is in family or at workplace. If they didn’t get what they expect, their ego bursts. There could be one leader anywhere and the prime quality of leadership is to give up ego. The ego cannot get full satisfaction by achievements; it sets new target and engage us to run after it. However, there is no end, unless we throw away the ego from us. Ego only Destroys Relationships.

Sometimes, the ego comes in between the two best friends and turns them into two great foes; can put a wedge between family members, life partners; and can turn people against each other in many ways.

Great saying- “First step of any relation is our Love and Efforts,
and Last step for any relation is simply our so called ego and attitude”

When you think, you are right during an argument, give a thought again..!!

For certain, I like to win an argument if we have exchanged strongly held points of view and thrashed out issues. Then it feels good if the other person genuinely changes his or her opinion because of my logic.

But what happens when the conflict is not resolved in a friendly manner? What it just destroys the peace of your relation? In either case, you believe the other person is wrong. After all, if you thought he or she was right, there wouldn’t have been a disagreement in the first place. Unfortunately, disagreements that end this way stop us from getting what we want from friendship and family relationships: respect, a sense of closeness, shared pleasure and the freedom to be ourselves.

Now for instance, if we could make our enemies as our friends, the friendship could flourish well. If we could throw away the envious feelings from our mind, the ego will also be thrown out from our mind. Always remember, do not let your ego overcome your emotions, sentiments and hurt you and Demolish your relations with others.

“If you have had a string of unsuccessful relationships, it is the high time that you let go of your ego and take a step forward toward true happiness.”

“True Friends always shut the doors of dumb egoistic feeling and try to keep alive the love between them overcoming the EGO”.
