The Crawling

One fine day in the midst of the vehicles, loud noisy horns and the black smoke emitting out of the vehicles. I saw a man neat and tidy leaning on the pole of the bus stop singing a Hemant Da song “ Raat Haseen ye Chand Haseen tu sabse Haseen mere dilbar” Everyone was staring at him with a question beginning with What, How and When and ending with the F letter word. The carefree man goes on with the song in his melodious voice. He was enjoying the solitude among the bunch of people with contend, calmness and rhythm. He was happy with himself. A girl passed thereby with silk knitted blonde hairs, alluring lips and eyes so contagious that anyone could drown into. She profoundly forced that man to skip his Heartbeat and soon he went chaotic with the notes and lyrics of the song. I was standing there noticing what was still unnoticed by the “Go-get-a-Job-kind-of-people-around”. Their eyes met for a glance, quickly set apart. They have traversed like a whole decade in that little friction of second. Their facial expression changed! The secret of being them as a stranger was unlocked to me. At least! The man cleaned up his throat and made a spell “Aur tujhse Haseen Tera Pyaar Tu mane na…” She blushed. He started singing with a blend of confidence and association. The association which only there hearts and eyes had done few minutes before. Vulnerable were the two souls hoping to be one in some way or other. Hello the man said. Hey! She responded with a smile. Silence started looming over. The smile got exchanged. Their hearts were singing the same song in unison. Something great was sneaking beneath their soul. Bus arrived. Shared long eye contact. Shared Smiles. Shared a promise of meeting again. The map to her heart was written on his song of silence. Their souls were crawling to meet and be one. They happened to be together. They may would happily ever after (obviously)....
